However, through private instruction, small groups, and a few dedicated training halls, grandmaster Sum Nung's art has spread from Guangdong, China, to Hong Kong, South East Asia, North America, Australia, and around the world.

Although all branches descend from grandmaster Sum Nung, there is no formal organization of practitioners. Each school and instructor is independent- having different experiences, personal tastes, and insights. Thus, exact curriculums and teaching approaches will vary from individual to individual.
