Biu Jee/Darting Fingers

Muk Yan Jong/Wooden Dummy

Gaun Sao (Gen Shou, Cultivating Arms)Biu jee (biao zhi, darting fingers), the third and final fist form, develops more advanced tactics. Biu jee can be interpreted as “darting with fingers”, in that it works to develop a penetrating, exacting force. It can also be taken as “pointing” in that, like a compass, it always returns to the center even when in tricky situations.

Footwork in the biu jee includes the moving horse, and major sections consist of covering elbows, killing bridges, cultivating arms, and saving body, among others.

Seeing Antony is about to strike, Rene moves forward, crosses him, and breaks his center of balance. Rene then follows up with a moving horse take-down..
